I have to say it is very good if they forget about the camera. That is important also but still - this is a different factor of shooting. It helps creating confidence but if there is no relationship then confidence does not build up - with or without the camera, i think.

When i shoot - i mean i have to do that anyways because i have to be very calm with the camera - i am trying to - people react towards me and the camera - so i am trying at the same time to build confidence for people with me and the camera. So, i am trying to connect and never loose contact with whom i am with. I am trying to give that feeling i am there for them. I am trying to give openness. I am trying to listen. I think listening is very important and when i listen, the more i listen the more i loose myself and moments can take place that confidence opens so much that people start giving. And if it is objects or landscapes also i am diving into the moment, i am diving into the visual moment of things and i am trying not to loose contact but to really be there. I think this is what i am trying to do.

My video art pieces so far have been very personal deriving from a personal experience and i think that because my job … is very much … has to do with public and other people i think that in my videos i have to focus on myself.

I am very much interested in the formal language of the imagery. I am a little bit weak on sounds so i like to work in a team, i like to have sound artists with me but if i cannot work in a team i use sampled sounds and sampled music, really.

I am currently working on a documentary, on an interactive documentary and i should be finishing soon. And again, this interactive documentary is a new thing and i am trying to find a way to market it, meaning: screening it, basically.

I am very much concentrating on people and life. I like to touch and i am referring as much to my inner worlds as to outer worlds, meaning when i look into myself i try to open up myself and leave this subjective perspective, this personal perspective of looking and i am trying to free myself to be able to perceive what is given to me. When i look through the camera i try to receive a gift and i try to open up between me and what i can see through the camera. I think the camera can have a very strong influence, i am sure the camera does have a very strong influence. There is a third space between what i see and between what i shoot and this third space is created through the camera, i think. So i try to let this third space speak and let people come in or objects come in.

Digital TV is very new in Greece. It has only been four months old. It is a new born baby. So, there is no such thing as interactive television yet.
